About Us

MTL Healing Space is a multidisciplinary space designed by and for values-aligned practitioners who center intersectionality, systemic healing, and collective care.

We strive to offer physically and financially accessible space for therapists, healers, facilitators, and care practitioners to practice, connect, and thrive—without compromising their values, well-being, or sense of belonging.

Here, you’re not just a service provider. You’re a whole person—deserving of support, visibility, and community.

A vision that makes us whole

The word healing means to make whole again.

MTL Healing Space recognizes how systemic trauma fragments, isolates and oppresses us into separate, isolated parts. We acknowledge the impact of systemic violence on practitioners and people marginalized by race, sex, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, immigration, religion, class and disability.

Together, those of us existing on various intersecting margins form a powerful majority -  Through collective regulation and connection, we hope we may all begin to return to wholeness, together.

A home for your practice

At MTL Healing Space, we offer a collaborative, non-clinical model rooted in community connection. Practitioners who rent space here also gain access to:

  • Facilitated social and embodied connection with other members to buffer against burnout through play, curiosity and compassion
  • Monthly events to uplift professional development and support private practice
  • Cross-pollination across disciplines, modalities, and identities
  • A physical space to gather, learn, experiment and connect.

Our space is designed for those doing deep work with—and for—communities chronically misunderstood and overlooked by traditional wellness models. Simultaneously, it is a hub where community members can access culturally relevant, trauma-informed support through individual and group therapy, workshops, and community gatherings.

Practicing at the edges

This is a space for therapists, healers, and facilitators who are:

  • Intersectionally marginalized by race, sex, sexual orientation, ability and class
  • Offering systemic healing in their approach and practice
  • Looking to decolonize their own approach to private practice
  • Seeking refuge from burnout, isolation, and professional silos
  • Needing connection, friendship and colleagueship across communities and cultures

You don’t have to do this work alone. Humans are wired for connection—not isolation. We believe healing and liberation is possible.

Whether you come from clinical, creative, spiritual, or somatic traditions, if your work is rooted in collective liberation, there is space for you here.
