Health Policy
The purpose of this policy is to create an accessible, inclusive and harm reduction space for the health and safety of both clients and practitioners, specifically those who are immunosuppressed, chronically ill and at risk of health complications from viral infections.
By attending a MTLHS event and entering the space you understand and agree that:
Masking is encouraged under the condition that you:
- Do not present any internal or external cold/flu symptoms.
- Have not been exposed to COVID or any cold or flu within the past 7 days.
- Are not questioning whether you are sick due to changes in your health baseline.
Masking is required if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
- Any change in your health baseline (e.g. headache, dizziness, sensitivity).
- Exposure to someone who was/is sick within the past 7 days even if you are not presenting symptoms.
Please rest at home if you have any of the following acute cold/flu symptoms:
- Fever
- Acute body aches and chills
- Sore Throat
- Acute cough not related to a chronic condition
- Runny nose
- Phlegm and congestion not related to allergies
Additional Important Information:
- Facilitators & Space holders may request masked attendance for the health and safety of themselves and others.
- You may inquire if an online version of the event is possible or if a refund or transferrefund or transfer is possible if you are sick and unable to attend in person.
- You may request at minimum 72 hours in advance for additional precautions such as masking or testing to support your attendance. Please note the decision to accommodate beyond this policy is at the discretion of the facilitator.
- A large space HEPA air filter with Hyper Captive® filtration is running in the space.
